What is a Mere (or Flat Fee) Listing?

At its core, a mere listing  (flat listing) refers to a property listing on the MLS ® where the real estate broker agrees to list the property without offering any additional services to the seller. Instead of the traditional commission-based approach, ComFree’s partner brokerage will simply list your property on realtor.ca for no cost to you. The seller pays a flat fee to ComFree to get their property listed on ComFree.com and realtor.ca.

The broker’s only responsibility is to ensure the property is listed on the MLS®, and from that point onwards, the seller handles inquiries, showings, and negotiations, all while eliminating commissions.
